Business Development Manager
My role with Movus is to act as the ‘middle man’ between estate agent and conveyancer, to help streamline the process and ultimately make the buying and selling journey as straightforward and stress-free as possible. Having worked as an estate agent, I appreciate that reputation matters, so ensuring a seamless level of service to clients from agent to conveyancer is incredibly important.
I understand that the process of selling can be emotive and daunting, it’s easy to forget that the driving factor behind any sale is often a significant life event; so it’s vital to act with compassion, clarity and positivity. Effective communication is absolutely vital during what can be a nerve-wracking process, so I take the time to know my clients and understand their needs inside-out.
Before joining Movus, I was lucky enough to work for a variety of independent and corporate estate agencies, both in Hampshire and Berkshire, but also in rural Norfolk where I ran a multi-branch firm for almost a decade. I feel privileged to have been entrusted with the sale of properties of all styles, from starter flats to Grade I listed former rectories; so I recognise how important it is to find a conveyancer who is able to communicate effectively and efficiently.
A Fun Fact
I once presented a weekly show on my local radio station in Newbury, ‘Kick FM’ after doing some sales work for them and having been complimented on my voice! For a few months I presented ‘The Sunday Kickback’.
